I was recently in a dungeon queued as dps and have an off spec of tank. We got to the first boss with no problems and a tanking shield dropped. I having not a good shield for my off spec I decided to roll need. The tank in our group also needed and I had a greater roll and won. Next, the tank decided it was right to start yelling at me and the whole group decided to vote me because apparently it is main spec first over off spec. I am not trying to start a flame war on the people who voted me I just want know what I can do so this wo not happen again or how we as a community can improve the dungeon system. Having to wait 20 minutes is in no ones best interest and to be kicked with no good reason is also not the best thing in the world. I am interested to know what others think was it wrong for me to need on an item for my off spec even though I came in as dps. Are the blues thinking about changing the dungeon system?
