Wrath of the Lich King introduces the continent of Northrend where the battle between good and evil will once again ensue, where Horde and Alliance would try to defeat the Lich King, and where gamers all around the world will once again spend countless hours playing the game. Dalaran was brought to ruins during the Third War. Prince Arthas, together with the Lich Lord Kel'Thuzad laid siege on the land.The city's thousands of citizens were annihilated. The purpose of the attack was so that Archimonde could be summoned, using the city's magic. After the siege, what is now the Wrath of the Lich King Dalaran neutral city was a pile of ruins.
